Note another reference to the Atkinson “Life is not Done Group”, the mysterious donor of monies to the APD though the Police Chief denies their existence. The reference is found in the Board of Selectmen meeting minutes of 6-4-2007. They can be viewed on the Town of Atkinson website.
Chief Consentino: “There has been a request from Life Is Not Done to make a donation to put up a stone wall with lights with a sign which says entering Atkinson. They are willing to donate the materials, labor, etc. They would like to bring in draft renditions. The sign would be valued at $4,000-$5,000. This will require a public hearing, and a discussion of placement must be held because of the right-of-way”.
